• All members of Minnesota Mensa are invited to this day of plan-
ning, brainstorming, benefit information, and socializing.
Our day will begin at 8:30 with registration and a continental breakfast.
• As a group we will learn and share as we explore:
Welcoming members: programs and possibilities
Getting people involved: volunteers and beyond
PR for Mensa: getting the word out
And, of course, snacks and lunch.
• Our lunch-time speaker will be Sheri McPherson-Higdon. Sheri is a
featured tarot reader at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival and the annual
Trail of Terror in Shakopee. She will help us "see into the future" by
talking about using fortune telling tools (cards, palms, etc.) to open our
minds to seeing possibilities. As a special favor to us, Sheri has agreed to
do a private for-fun, for-free three-card reading for anyone who wishes to
participate.
We promise to have you out the door by 4:00 with oodles of information
and ideas.
The event will take place at St. Frances Cabrini Church near the UofM
Minneapolis campus.
From the south, traveling either east or west on I-94, go north at the Hwy.
280/University Ave. exit and take the first left, which is Franklin. The
church will be on your left after you pass back over I-94.
From the north, go south on I-35W to Hwy. 280, south on Hwy. 280 to the
University Ave exit. Once at the exit, cross University and take the next
right, which is Franklin. The church will be on your left after you pass back
over I-94.
