Puzzle from May 2002 Mensagenda
Donna's Diary
by Donna Myhrer
A Tricky Quiz
The other day I was paging through the dictionary for fun (and who but Mensans ever do that?) and I picked out a few words and their definitions to tease you all with. Following are 23 definitions of different words from my dictionary. Each of the words begins with a different letter of the alphabet, between A and W inclusive (that means there are no words that begin with X, Y or Z in the answers). I will also give the number of letters in the word in parentheses after the definition. All of the words have a certain similarity of meaning in common. Have fun! The answers are here.
